Rhoda Cooper
Founder & Director
Qualified Accountant (FCCA), Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA),
CILEX Practitioner (ACCA-Probate) and Full Member of
the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Rhoda has spent her entire career working with individuals, trustees, executors and charities providing valuable financial and taxation support and advice. She likes nothing more than helping people understand their finances so they can make their own informed choices.
She takes time to get to know and understand her clients so that she can suggest tailored practical solutions.
Prior to founding Finch Tax in 2016, Rhoda spent 17 years employed in practice. She started her career in a local accountancy practice where she qualified as an accountant. She then moved a large national firm to specialise in tax. It was there that Rhoda led a specialist Trust and Estate team which looked after approximately 500 clients and trusts of varying size and complexity.
When Rhoda is not working she enjoys sunny holidays, spas, wine and, most importantly, spending quality time with her two daughters.
Rachel Wright
Charity Bookkeeper
Rachel has extensive bookkeeping experience, having worked for a variety of businesses and charities throughout her career.
Having previously completed her Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) Level 3 qualification, this, combined with her bookkeeping skills, means that our clients can receive a clear analysis on the financial health of their charity. Rachel works very closely with our clients to ensure that all transactions are logged and reconciled in order to give an accurate up to date picture of the organisation’s financial position.
When she’s not crunching numbers, Rachel is a keen crafter and loves taking her dog Bertie for walks.
Debbie Hurst
Administrator/Legal Secretary
Debbie joined Finch Tax in 2019, having been a receptionist with Grant Thornton Chartered Accountants for 28 years and, more recently an administration assistant/receptionist for a local firm of Accountants.
Debbie works closely with Rhoda and Rachel to provide them with a wide range of support, which frees up their time to focus on our clients.
Outside of work Debbie enjoys travelling, running and spending time with her family.
